Our Sat Connect IC business unit, a division of our Satellite Systems business, is a leading provider of ASICs, software, multibeam electronically steered antennas, and complete systems for communication satellites, as well as ground and airborne terminals. With locations in Israel, the UK, and the US, we are a technology leader in satellite communication.

Role:

The Senior Program Manager will lead complex ASIC and technology development programs from concept through design, validation, qualification, production and customer delivery. The role is responsible for overall program execution, ensuring delivery against technical, schedule, cost, quality and customer requirements. The role requires strong leadership of multidisciplinary R&D teams and effective management of customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain and other supporting functions
  • Proactively manage program risks, opportunities, dependencies and critical decisions, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation
  • Provide clear program visibility to senior management and customers through structured reporting, performance tracking and regular program reviews

Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex ASIC and technology development programs, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, resources, budgets and key performance indicators
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Systems, VLSI. HW, SW, Validation, RF, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain
  • Manage program risks, opportunities, dependencies and critical issues, driving mitigation and timely escalation
  • Monitor program performance using schedule, financial and Earned Value metrics, and drive corrective actions where required
  • Lead customer and stakeholder communication, including program reviews, progress meetings and resolution of key issues
  • Work closely with relevant functions to ensure effective management of suppliers, subcontractors and external development partners, and alignment with overall program commitments
  • Coordinate technical and program milestones, including design reviews, tape-out, qualification, production readiness and customer delivery
  • Provide regular program reporting, including weekly program updates, bi-weekly reviews, Monthly Program Reviews (MPRs), financial forecasts, risks and key decisions
  • Drive effective decision-making, accountability and collaboration across geographically distributed and multidisciplinary teams

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • BSc/MSc in Engineering or related technical discipline; MBA is an advantage
  • 10+ years of program management experience, with a proven track record delivering complex ASIC, semiconductor, HW/SW or technology programs
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary R&D and product development programs through design, qualification and production
  • Strong understanding of ASIC/VLSI and HW/SW development lifecycles
  • Experience with program planning, budgeting, risk management, Earned Value Management and customer management
  • Experience with ESA programs and familiarity with ESA standards and processes is highly desirable
  • Background in Space/Satellite, Aerospace, Semiconductor or Networking industries is an advantage
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving and escalation-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams in a demanding environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
