Senior Program Manager - NHS Technology
Location: Milton Keynes / Hybrid
Salary: £70,000–£95,000 depending on experience
Company: Flexzo AI
About Flexzo AI
Flexzo AI is building the next generation of workforce technology for healthcare.
We work with healthcare organisations to improve how they plan, deploy and manage their workforce, combining modern workforce management technology with AI to help organisations make better operational decisions.
As we expand our work across the NHS, we are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the implementation of major technology programmes across NHS organisations.
The Role
This is a senior delivery role responsible for taking complex technology deployments from contract signature through implementation, go-live and adoption.
You will work directly with NHS executive teams, workforce leaders, operational teams, clinical stakeholders, digital teams and our internal product and implementation teams.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have previously deployed rostering, workforce management or scheduling technology into large NHS Acute or Mental Health Trusts.
This is not a generic project management position. We are looking for someone who understands how NHS organisations operate, knows how to navigate complex stakeholder environments and has successfully delivered technology into live NHS settings.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead end-to-end delivery of major Flexzo AI implementations across NHS organisations.
- Build and manage detailed programme plans covering implementation, configuration, integration, data migration, testing, training, deployment and adoption.
- Act as the senior programme contact for NHS customers throughout implementation.
- Work closely with Trust executives, programme teams, workforce teams, clinical leaders, HR, IT, Digital and Finance stakeholders.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams across Flexzo AI product, engineering, implementation and customer teams.
- Establish programme governance including steering groups, RAID logs, milestones, dependencies and reporting.
- Identify delivery risks early and drive them through to resolution.
- Manage complex organisational change associated with the introduction of new workforce technology.
- Ensure implementations move successfully from pilot or initial deployment into operational adoption.
- Develop repeatable implementation methodologies as Flexzo AI expands across the NHS.
- Support customers through go-live and post-implementation optimisation.
- Provide senior leadership with clear visibility of programme progress, risks and required decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
