Overview
Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO London) is looking to hire a Senior Programme Coordinator in the Apprenticeships team, reporting to the Head of Strategic Projects.
Role Description
The role of a Senior Programme Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all apprenticeship programme-related activities. This will include developing a comprehensive understanding of all SEO London programmes, as well as the relevant industry sectors they support. The role requires an appreciation of how these programmes align with the wider SEO London organisation and the ability to use this knowledge to liaise with students and partner organisations.
The Senior Programme Coordinator will be responsible for using data to run reports to demonstrate the impact of each programme. In collaboration with the wider team, the role will provide recommendations for potential iterations and innovative ideas to further support the student experience. Additionally, the role will ensure a seamless and professional level of customer care for all students and partner organisations.
You will sit within the Apprenticeships division of SEO London, where you will support the development, preparation and delivery of two new key initiatives:
Plan A (Year 12-13): An 18-month apprenticeship support programme for Schools Leavers pursuing Higher-Level Apprenticeships across SEO London industries.
Schools Alumni: A dedicated post-Schools community that keeps participants connected to SEO London, supports diverse progression pathways, and enables long-term tracking and engagement.

PROGRAMME DELIVERY AND LOGISTICS
- Facilitation and delivery of sessions, as well as supporting students through 1:1 coaching.
- Scoping and delivery of key projects and events based on a strong understanding about the required outcomes from the partner firms and participants.
- Management of end-to-end projects, including working to deadlines and project milestones, along with resource planning and stakeholder management, identifying and signing up volunteers, participants or partners for programme events.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT & QUERY HANDLING
- Relationship management of the students, including the ability to understand needs, resolve issues, and anticipate and create a strong relationship on behalf of SEO London.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the project, maintaining seamless communication with all key stakeholders (students, partner firms, schools, internal teams and third parties) throughout the project lifecycle, including logistical coordination.
- Relationship management of partner firms, ensuring the needs and expectations of partner firms are effectively met, and any arising issues are proactively addressed.
- Representing SEO London when attending school and partner firm events, with strong knowledge of and enthusiasm for its programmes and mission.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
- Review each project or event post-delivery to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes across all SEO London programmes, using evaluation methods including but not limited to polls, surveys, and feedback analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely capture of all students, partner, event and volunteer information and feedback in the CRM system, maintaining compliance with all relevant process standards and data integrity requirements.
Required Qualifications
Qualifications: University degree (any discipline) or at least 3 years relevant and relatable work experience in a similar role.
Flexibility: This role requires flexibility, including occasional ad hoc duties, and occasional evening work up to 6:30pm.
Desirable: Experience or knowledge in the apprenticeships sector

We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in most of the following skills and will be willing to learn and develop others:

- A passion for supporting young people, along with having a working knowledge of the student lifecycle (both school and apprenticeships/university) in the UK
- Having an interest and knowledge about the industries SEO London operates in
- Business writing skills
- Diversity and inclusion knowledge
- Strong understanding of employability skills required by students to be job market ready
- Database experience and analysing data
- Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - ability to create and edit documents in Word, creating spreadsheets, along with the ability to manage Outlook and create PowerPoint slideshows. Ability to use Teams and Zoom to communicate and collaborate.
