Fixed Term / Secondment to 31/03/2028

Highland HSCP is recruiting a Senior Programme Manager, for a fixed term, to lead the Adult Social Care Transformation Programme until the end of March 2028. The transformation Programme is supported by a £20 million transformation fund and the savings potential is £31 million. We are seeking an individual with significant knowledge and experience in the field of Adult Social Care and a proven track record in project and programme management supported by appropriate qualifications.

The successful candidate will be able to handle competing demands, be clear thinking and able to work under high levels of pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines and use initiative.

  • They will be required to engage a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally and will require resilience to deliver the programme, particularly when faced with opposing views.
  • They will have the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivating, whilst also working collaboratively as a member of the team.

Integrated health and social care services for adults are delivered in Highland by NHS Highland in a lead agency arrangement. While reporting to the HSCP Head of Service, Integration, Planning and Performance, the post holder will be supporting the HSCP Chief Officer as responsible executive for the delivery of the programme and will work within a partnership arrangement requiring reporting to both NHS Highland and The Highland Council Chief Executives and relevant committees.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
