Role Overview

You will be working in a team with cross-functional expertise and consultancy skillsets to deliver an exceptional experience to our people. This opportunity involves building collaborative relationships within a matrix organisation and taking ownership of people and change projects, focused on the AI agenda, to deliver value to the firm. This is a 'hands-on' role requiring a proven understanding of project, programme and change management, so it will suit those with a genuine passion for these disciplines.

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and highly motivated Senior Programme Manager to lead and deliver our AI-enabled workforce transformation agenda. This role sits at the intersection of people, technology and business strategy, leading complex programmes that redefine how work is performed, how organisations are structured, and how value is unlocked through AI, automation and emerging technologies.

Working across HR, Technology, Data and Business leadership teams, you will orchestrate multiple strategic workstreams spanning AI adoption, workforce planning, work redesign, operating model transformation, digital capability development, organisational effectiveness, culture change and employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain a robust cross-business network of relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout the project and programme lifecycle.
  • Elicit and translate intricate business requirements into clearly defined project scope, measurable outcomes, and quantifiable benefits.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive impactful results.
  • Develop compelling business cases for new project initiatives, with a clear emphasis on measurable success criteria, tangible benefits, and desired outcomes.
  • Serve as a champion for HR project, programme, and change delivery best practice and governance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement across HR teams. Utilise and adapt recognised methodologies, including AI tools, to effectively deliver projects, tailoring approaches to meet the specific needs of the business.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership to optimise the day-to-day execution of projects and programmes, effectively securing buy-in and sponsorship from key stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate issues, risks, and dependencies across HR projects and programmes, ensuring successful delivery and optimal outcomes for the HR function.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between enabling area stakeholders, such as Transformation, IT, Risk, Finance, and Procurement, ensuring alignment and seamless delivery to a controlled scope throughout the project or programme lifecycle.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the HR project team, ensuring capacity and resourcing are aligned to business priorities while supporting individual development and career growth.
  • Act as People Leader for project managers, creating a high-performing and inclusive team environment through coaching, feedback, and ongoing development support.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
