The Senior Programme Manager Role
This is your opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role at the centre of a flagship transformation.
As Delivery Lead, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of a multi-year analytics modernisation programme for a Tier-1 global financial services organisation. Reporting to the VP of Professional Services, you’ll guide the migration of enterprise reporting and analytics from legacy platforms (Tableau and Cognos) into the Qlik ecosystem - shaping how a global financial institution consumes and trusts its data.
You won’t just manage a programme. You’ll lead a transformation with executive sponsorship, senior stakeholder visibility, and real enterprise impact.
If you’re an experienced project or programme leader ready for bigger scope, broader influence, and a seat at the table - this is that step up.
What makes this role interesting?
This Is Not a Single Workstream Or Contained Delivery. It’s a Complex, High-profile Transformation With Real Scale And Challenge. You’ll Have The Opportunity To
- Lead a large-scale analytics migration spanning data ingestion, transformation, modelling, and BI platforms
- Own the full lifecycle — from mobilisation and planning through execution, testing, release, and transition into business-as-usual
- Shape programme governance, reporting, and delivery standards across multiple teams
- Partner directly with business and technology leaders to translate strategic ambitions into tangible outcomes
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across consulting, engineering, architecture, and customer stakeholders
- Drive strong data quality, governance, and testing practices in a highly regulated financial services environment
- Champion adoption of modern analytics capabilities into operational environments

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your leadership will directly influence adoption, trust in data, and the long-term success of a high-profile analytics transformation.
