Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Role

We seek an experienced Programme leader who, recognising that this role is the first of its kind in the nuclear sector, will embrace the challenge of creating a best-in-class team. Strategic, pragmatic, charismatic and disciplined, the Senior Programme Manager must bring experience of:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver Industrialised products and processes in tight timescales with a large degree of autonomy.
  • Managing a category or multiple commodities/products from early concept phases through to a rate ready, industrialised status in a highly regulated industry.
  • Integrating multiple supplier/partner organisations to a project/programme or portfolio with common/aligned goals.
  • Governing interdependent workstreams while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

And if you can offer working knowledge of tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SAP and Power BI - coupled with APM accreditation or a Prince 2 qualification - then this really is a role that you should consider. Do feel free to request a full and more detailed role profile from Alex Jordan (I'm easy to find on LinkedIn) if this appeals, otherwise click on the link to apply.
