Senior Programme Manager
CORNERSTONE, the UK’s leading silicon photonics foundry at the University of Southampton, is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to lead the development of a Canada-UK semiconductor network, supporting early career researchers, and coordinate the activities of a consortium developing optical chips for AI.
Responsibilities
- Manage the development of a Canada-UK semiconductor network, empowering early career researchers (ECRs) to lead the next wave of innovation in advanced materials, photonics, and chip design.
- Coordinate the activities of a consortium developing optical chips for AI.
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders within industry, academia, and policy makers in the UK and Canada.
- Work within a fast-paced environment, managing day-to-day operations, communications, and marketing, while tracking actions to deliver outcomes and achieve impact.
- Design, develop, and deliver high-impact international conferences, workshops, and seminars, tracking membership, and coordinating activities with partner organisations.
- Identify complementary funding streams and sponsorship opportunities to enhance the network and maximize impact.
- Work alongside CORNERSTONE’s Engagement Officer and Administrator to promote activities via the website and social media accounts.
- Ensure Equality, Diversity & Inclusion are embedded within these activities, working with CORNERSTONE’s Delivery Manager - Operations & EDI.
