Senior Programme Manager

Location: Hybrid / Flexible
Contract Type: Contract

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead a global credit risk transformation programme within a complex trading and supply environment.

This strategic initiative will deliver a single, integrated credit risk platform, enhancing exposure monitoring, collateral management, underwriting, contract management, and margining processes across multiple regions. The programme will drive operational efficiencies, improve risk visibility, and support better business decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading large-scale technology transformation programmes, managing senior stakeholders, and delivering cloud-based solutions within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead programme delivery to agreed scope, budget, timeline, quality, and benefits targets.
  • Establish governance, reporting, and programme controls.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, change management, and business readiness.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Manage business cases, benefits realisation, and value delivery.
  • Ensure successful transition into operational support and business-as-usual.
  • Deliver measurable business outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.

Programme Overview

The programme will implement a global credit risk management platform to centralise and streamline credit processes across international trading operations.

Key outcomes include:

  • A single global view of credit exposure.
  • Enhanced exposure monitoring and credit line utilisation.
  • Improved collateral visibility and management.
  • Greater automation, standardisation, and operational efficiency.
  • Enhanced reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
  • Improved onboarding, underwriting, contract management, and margining processes.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience managing programmes with budgets up to $10M.
  • Leadership of teams of up to 50 resources.
  • Experience delivering complex business and technology transformation programmes.
  • Strong Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery expertise.
  • Delivery of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, cloud migration, or enterprise platform implementations.
  • Domain knowledge in one or more of:

What We're Looking For

A strategic programme leader who can successfully deliver complex global transformation initiatives, engage senior stakeholders, and drive tangible business outcomes within fast-paced, enterprise environments. Experience within trading, risk, or financial services is highly desirable.
