What You'll Do
We're looking for a Senior Tools Programmer to evolve artist tools within the Unreal Editor, particularly in geometry and texturing processing, terrain authoring, and procedural generation. An important aspect of this role is supporting both user-driven and agentic workflows, including exploring and implementing new interaction paradigms to accelerate content creation. You'll directly impact artist productivity by developing user-facing tools for one of the leading game engines used by developers worldwide.
In this role, you will
- Support and extend existing artist tools for internal and external users
- Refactor existing tools to be more accessible and effective for agentic workflows
- Create new tools at the intersection of user-driven and agent-driven content creation
- Collaborate with artists on internal projects and productions
- Work with other developers across team boundaries on shared initiatives
- Contribute to major initiatives that shape the future of the Unreal Editor

What We're Looking For
- Excellent C++ skills
- Strong background in developing artist tools within the games or film industry
- Experience with geometry processing, texture processing, or procedural generation
- Fluency in using current agentic tools and workflows for programming tasks
- Track record of exploring and applying AI capabilities to advance artist workflows
- Experience developing in a large codebase
- Ability to work independently and deliver effectively as part of a distributed team
- Experience working collaboratively to deliver high-quality outcomes across teams
