Senior Project Controls Planner (DV Cleared)
18-Month Contract | Berkshire | Inside IR35 | Competitive Market Rate
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Controls Planner to join a major, long-term programme supporting a highly secure UK organisation.
Working within a complex programme environment, you will be responsible for delivering robust planning capability, maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), supporting programme governance, and providing critical planning insight to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Produce accurate schedule forecasts and planning reports
- Perform Critical Path Analysis and schedule optimization
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule performance reporting
- Facilitate planning workshops with project and programme teams
- Build strong relationships with Project Managers, engineers, and technical stakeholders
- Promote planning best practice across complex programmes
- Ensure planning activities are delivered in line with established governance and business processes

Essential Experience
- Extensive experience as a Project Planner or Project Controls Planner
- Strong Primavera P6 expertise
- Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS)
- Critical Path Analysis
- Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Experience supporting large, complex programmes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Security Requirements
Due to the nature of this programme, applicants must hold active Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
Contract Details
- 18-month initial contract
- Inside IR35
- Full-time onsite in Berkshire
- Competitive hourly rate (DOE)
