Senior Project Controller - Multiple roles available

12 month contracts

3 days per week - PR4 (Preston)

Rate - £41.06 per hour (Inside IR35)

Typical duties include:

  • Monitoring performance and providing trend analysis to determine improvement areas and to support the development of key performance indicators
  • Operating a project control system to define progress and identify programme performance issues
  • Creating and maintaining project schedules
  • Driving ownership of the work scope tasks throughout the project team
  • Managing project scope change and budget, applying Earned Value Management techniques
  • Applying risk and opportunity techniques

Knowledge:

Essential:

  • Experience of operating project control systems, defining progress, and identifying performance issues
  • Experience of risk, opportunity, and change management
  • Experience creating and maintaining project schedules using the relevant toolsets
  • Experience applying Earned Value Management techniques

Qualifications:

Desirable:

  • A formal project management qualification such as APMP, Prince 2, or equivalent
