Position: Senior Project Controller

Location: Remote Working (Birmingham Office, when required)

Profile:

As a Senior Project Controller, you will be working in a project-driven environment where financial governance, forecast accuracy, and cash discipline directly shape delivery outcomes. You will work closely with Project Management and cross-functional teams to provide clear financial insight, support decision-making, and strengthen project performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial support across the full project lifecycle (tender → execution → warranty), ensuring transparency and control.
  • Partner with Project Managers on commercial and financial matters, translating data into clear insights and supporting decisions.
  • Support profitability and cash performance by identifying risks and opportunities early and contributing to mitigation actions.
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly project reviews and forecasts, ensuring reliable financial insight and consistency.
  • Support financial processes including invoicing, cash collection, currency exposure tracking, bonds & guarantees, and tax alignment with relevant functions.

Ideal Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Strong Excel capability; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Experience in project or tender controlling in a project-based environment is beneficial.
  • A structured approach with the ability to move from data to insight to action.
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
