About the Role

Our pharma & life sciences consultancy—founded in 2013—continues to scale with a diverse global team. You’ll join a dynamic sectoral team supporting innovative life sciences projects, including manufacturing facilities for industry leaders.

- Partnering with clients to build long-term, collaborative relationships while meeting expectations.
- Conducting coordinated, structured governance and reporting meetings to monitor delivery performance.
- Developing and managing baselines (scope, time, cost, risk, assumptions) and assessing delivery deviations, change management, and contingency planning.
- Providing expert quantitative analyses (cost/timescale assessments) and their implications under the guidance of the PMO director/project manager.
- Actively identifying risks and opportunities, recommending and mitigating actions to keep projects on track.
- Ensuring operations align with Mace standards, client requirements, and legislative frameworks.
- Line managing both technical and operational-after-care PMO/controls teams for assigned projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
