Senior Project Delivery Specialist, APAC
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Delivery Specialist, APAC based in United Kingdom.
This is a senior project delivery role responsible for managing complex, high-visibility initiatives across mobile connectivity, enterprise software, and network integration.
You’ll coordinate internal teams, external vendors, mobile networks, and service partners to deliver strategic projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
The role combines project governance, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, regulatory coordination, and technical delivery across multiple markets.
You’ll oversee projects from planning and requirements through integration, quality assurance, launch, and post-delivery escalation.
Working across Product, Engineering, Legal, Quality Assurance, and external partners, you’ll ensure dependencies are visible and teams remain aligned around shared milestones.
The position requires strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex projects in a fast-moving, internationally distributed environment.

Accountabilities
- Manage high-visibility, multi-stakeholder projects that support strategic business objectives and expansion into new markets.
- Coordinate internal deliverables and external activities to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within agreed budgets, and according to quality expectations.
- Act as the primary project management interface with mobile networks, vendors, suppliers, and service partners across international markets.
- Manage vendor and supplier performance, ensuring commitments around timelines, budgets, deliverables, and quality are met.
- Establish clear and professional communication channels across internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring expectations and responsibilities remain aligned.
- Apply project management best practices and established standards to strengthen project governance, execution discipline, and reporting.
- Define project KPIs and performance indicators, monitor progress, and provide clear, timely status reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, vendors, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Identify project risks and dependencies early, establish mitigation plans, and proactively address issues before they impact delivery.
- Make informed decisions around resource allocation, prioritization, and sequencing to maintain project momentum and delivery efficiency.
- Ensure robust quality assurance practices are embedded throughout project execution and collaborate closely with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
- Coordinate regulatory compliance activities for projects involving the launch or expansion of services into new markets.
- Orchestrate Legal, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional efforts when regulatory or operational requirements require coordinated action.
- Coordinate the technical activities required to integrate new mobile networks into the existing platform and ensure integration milestones are achieved.
- Act as a first-level escalation point for project issues, delivery shortcomings, dependencies, and risks, coordinating the appropriate teams toward resolution.
- Maintain strong project governance across the full lifecycle, ensuring decisions, actions, risks, and deliverables remain documented and traceable.

Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience managing enterprise software deployment and integration projects, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the mobile telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of eSIM technology, its applications, and relevant operational use cases.
- Solid understanding of mobile roaming concepts, including passive and active roaming, international calling, sponsored roaming, and related commercial or technical considerations.
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end project planning and execution, including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, critical paths, risk management, and status reporting.
- Experience working across multiple project management methodologies, from traditional Waterfall approaches to Agile delivery models.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple internal stakeholders, external vendors, technology partners, and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish accountability and maintain productive relationships throughout a project lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly when managing competing priorities, project risks, and delivery constraints.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and deadlines without losing sight of strategic objectives.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, remote-first international environment.
- PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or comparable project management training or certification is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of telecommunications network technologies, particularly Mobile Core and OSS/BSS, is desirable.
- International project or cross-border working experience is highly preferred.
