Noriker Power is a leading renewable energy integrator and developer specialising in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects that support the UK and Ireland’s power grid.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a proven track record in delivering large scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, possess a strong sense of responsibility, and be committed to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership for the lifecycle of grid scale BESS projects.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to drive milestones, acting as the primary technical authority in project delivery.
  • Oversee subcontract and internal technical staff, proactively identifying engineering risks, optimising costs, providing engineering solutions, and ensuring all work meets project specifications.
  • Act as the key focal point for the technical review of all designs and documentation attributed to the project.
  • Coordinate technical input across electrical, civil and mechanical engineering disciplines.
  • Actively involved in site activities during construction and commissioning phases performing intermittent site and equipment inspections.

  • Degree educated in a STEM subject, preferably electrical or civil engineering.
  • Demonstrable experience in multi-million pound large scale infrastructure projects, especially the power and energy industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Engineering experience with demonstrable problem solving abilities.
  • Proven track record in providing technical leadership on large scale projects.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Strong IT literacy and CAD proficiency.
  • Programming and modelling experience with exposure to any of: SQL databases, Python, Labview, Golang or other programming languages - a strong advantage.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK permanently.
