The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support a technically advanced engineering programme focused on high-power charging, power electronics and electrification systems. This is a senior, hands-on engineering role requiring someone who can combine strong technical understanding with effective project delivery. The successful engineer will work across multidisciplinary engineering teams, helping drive complex high-power electrical systems from design and development through integration, testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate engineering activities across high-power charging and power electronics projects.
  • Drive technical delivery across electrical, mechanical, controls, software and systems engineering disciplines.
  • Translate programme requirements into clear engineering deliverables, work packages and priorities.
  • Track technical progress, identify engineering risks and drive issues through to resolution.
  • Support the development and integration of high-power DC/AC charging systems, power electronics and associated electrical equipment.
  • Coordinate design reviews and ensure actions and technical decisions are effectively managed.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to resolve integration and system-level technical challenges.
  • Support prototype build, system integration, verification, validation and commissioning activities.
  • Manage technical interfaces between internal engineering teams, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
  • Ensure engineering documentation, requirements and design changes are appropriately controlled.
  • Provide clear technical and project updates to senior engineering and programme stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
