Why Join Us?

Onecom is the UK's leading business technology provider, shaping the way we work, connect, communicate, and operate.

You will join a multi-award-winning company, with over 800 talented people committed to delivering great customer experiences driven by the Onecom Way: Think Kaizen, Be Respectful, Build Relationships, Make it Happen, Work Smart, Be Amazing.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, customer-focused Senior Project Engineer to join our Professional Services team.

You’ll take the technical lead on a range of customer projects across Unified Communications, Collaboration, and Modern Workplace, designing, deploying, and transitioning solutions into support.

Working closely with Project Managers, Consultants, customers, and third-party partners, you’ll make sure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within scope.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys combining hands-on technical delivery with customer interaction, particularly someone with strong experience of VoIP platforms and Linux-based operating systems.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering Customer Projects

  • Manage multiple technical project workstreams and deliver against agreed timescales.
  • Take part in discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Produce implementation plans, migration strategies, and technical documentation.
  • Deliver solutions in line with agreed scope, quality standards, and best practice.
  • Support the smooth handover of completed projects into Managed Services and operational support teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
