Senior Project Engineer
Location: Worldwide Operations - Must be open to European and UK Travel
Reports to: Head of Projects
Salary: Up to £60,000 including bonus based on company performance
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead and execute engineering projects across process, instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical disciplines. This senior engineering role sits within the leadership team and is hands-on, with responsibility for managing every stage of the project lifecycle. This includes producing P&IDs, specifying and procuring equipment, coordinating with the Controls team, and overseeing installation and commissioning to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages simultaneously. You will play a pivotal part in shaping project strategy, driving innovation, and representing our client with professionalism to clients and partners worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and support team members, setting clear expectations and driving performance.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery: design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers worldwide.
- Oversee technical proposals, quotations, and vendor approvals.
- Mentor colleagues to strengthen the overall capability of the project team.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001, health & safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Act as the focal point for client support contracts and spare parts management.

About You:
- Proven experience across all stages of process equipment projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical expertise in process, mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
