Senior Estimator / Project Manager - Curtains & Soft Furnishings

JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full-Time, Office Based

SALARY: Competitive, dependent on experience

LOCATION: WF13 Dewsbury

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Estimator / Project Manager - Curtains & Soft Furnishings - Dewsbury

Also known in the industry as: Curtain Estimator, Soft Furnishings Estimator, Drapery Project Manager, Contract Furnishings Project Manager, Interiors Estimator.

We are a family-run business with over a century of combined expertise, manufacturing and installing bespoke curtains, drapery and soft furnishings to luxury and contemporary hotels, as well as high-end multi-residential properties globally.

We are seeking a highly capable Estimator / Project Manager to lead the delivery of bespoke curtain and soft furnishing projects for our B2B clients. This is an office-based role at our Dewsbury office, and a genuinely dual-function one: you will spend as much time preparing accurate, technical cost estimates as you will managing projects from initial enquiry through to installation and final handover, so we're looking for someone equally comfortable with both sides.

Experience in curtains, drapery, soft furnishings, or the wider interiors sector is a strong advantage, but we welcome candidates from related estimating or project management backgrounds who can demonstrate the right skills and are keen to learn the sector. This role suits someone with strong organisational skills, technical estimating expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. We are also introducing new systems to streamline the estimating process, so a comfort with learning and adopting new tools is beneficial.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
