Are you an experienced project manager who enjoys bringing complex research projects together? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling priorities and working collaboratively with researchers, suppliers and clients? If you're looking to develop your career within qualitative research, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
You'll join Ipsos Understanding Unlimited (UU), our qualitative research team, working alongside our researchers to organise and deliver high-quality research for clients across sectors including finance, FMCG and automotive. You'll work across UK and international projects, using methodologies ranging from face-to-face focus groups and interviews to online communities and other digital approaches.
This is a hands-on project management role where you'll manage projects end to end, from creating budgets and project plans through to coordinating suppliers, recruitment and delivery. You'll contribute to project design, advise on screeners and respondent profiles, negotiate supplier costs and keep projects on track financially.
You'll be joining a lively, fast-paced team where attention to detail, collaboration and creative problem solving are key. You'll also have opportunities to identify smarter and more efficient ways of working, share project learnings and continue developing your project management expertise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
