Outline of role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Senior Project / Fixture Manager to join our ACC Fixture Management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to take ownership of a team of Fixture Managers while also managing the successful delivery of retail fixture and fit-out projects.
Reporting to the ACC Account Manager, you will lead, support and develop a team of five, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, installation teams and internal stakeholders to drive project success, build strong relationships and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will combine strong leadership skills with hands-on project management expertise and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the ACC Fixture Management team.
- Allocate, manage and prioritise workloads across the team.
- Build, develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Resolve client issues, concerns and project challenges in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor departmental budgets, profitability and project performance.
- Produce monthly cost reports and budget forecasts for senior stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with internal departments, clients and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct performance reviews, set objectives and support employee development.
- Lead team meetings and project review sessions.

Project Management Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial concept through to completion.
- Develop project plans using sales floor layouts, survey information, client briefs and architectural drawings.
- Prepare feasibility studies and cost plans.
- Liaise with clients, installers and quantity surveyors to ensure project requirements are fully understood and delivered.
- Coordinate equipment requirements, procurement and delivery schedules.
- Manage project phasing and implementation timelines.
- Place, monitor and adjust equipment orders as project requirements evolve.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and administrative records throughout delivery.
- Manage snagging activities and additional works as required.
- Complete final accounts and ensure commercial accuracy across all projects.
- Ensure all projects meet health and safety requirements, client expectations, programme deadlines and budget targets.
- Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance processes and ways of working.
Knowledge And Experience Required
- Proven experience managing projects within retail, fit-out, construction, installations or shelving systems environments.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and manage teams.
- Demonstrable experience in project delivery, commercial management and budget control.
- Experience developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong understanding of project risk management and problem-solving techniques.
- A track record of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
- Experience managing health and safety requirements within a project environment.
- Retail sector experience would be highly advantageous.

Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in Construction, Retail Management or a related discipline.
