Senior MEP Project Manager

We're looking for a Senior MEP Project Manager to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical team based in Basingstoke.

Location: Basingstoke

Business Unit: Kier Mechanical & Electrical

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

As a Senior MEP Project Manager, you'll lead day-to-day pre-construction and construction activities for projects valued up to £45m. Working within our Kier Mechanical & Electrical business, you'll be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve excellent outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the Kier Mechanical & Electrical Team, supporting them in delivering complex MEP Design and Build Projects. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading safety, health, environmental and wellbeing culture across all project activities
  • Managing project delivery to agreed execution plans, ensuring compliance with design, programme and quality standards
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
  • Overseeing project finances, revenue, costs and cashflow to maximise profitability
  • Leading and supporting your project team, ensuring clear communication and regular performance reviews

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if:

  • You hold a CSCS card and SMSTS qualification, with relevant professional qualifications or working towards membership of a professional body
  • You have proven experience as a Project Manager with strong knowledge of contract conditions and construction law
  • You're an excellent communicator who can influence at all levels and build collaborative relationships
  • You have sound commercial and contractual awareness with a commitment to health, safety and risk management
  • You're highly organised, proactive and driven to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction
