Summary
OXBO are partnered with a well-established UK Renewable Energy IPP specialising in utility-scale Solar and BESS. They're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their Delivery team in London.

Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will lead construction activities across utility-scale Solar, BESS and co-located projects from financial close through to O&M handover.

What you will be doing

  • Act as Client / Employer’s Representative from FID through construction, commissioning and COD.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams across utility-scale Solar PV, BESS and co-located projects.
  • Manage high-value EPC, ICP and construction contracts, including FIDIC, variations, claims and commercial close-out.
  • Oversee programme, budget, cash flow, risk, change and project controls.
  • Manage EPC contractors, Owner’s Engineers, technical advisers and key project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Finance, Legal, Procurement, Engineering, Construction and Operations teams around delivery milestones.
  • Lead lender and investor interfaces, including due diligence, drawdowns, reporting, waivers and consents.
  • Support tendering, contract negotiations and commercial strategy to ensure projects are bankable and contractually robust.
  • Prepare decision-ready reporting for senior management, SPV boards, lenders and investors.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, programme and financing risks.

What you will bring

  • Degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Extensive project and contract management experience across renewables, infrastructure, power, energy or similar capital projects.
  • Good understanding of utility-scale Solar PV, BESS, grid connection and route-to-market.
  • Proven experience delivering project-financed assets, including lender due diligence, drawdowns and lender / investor reporting.
  • Strong experience representing an owner, employer, sponsor or SPV on complex contracted projects.
  • Extensive experience with FIDIC, EPC and ICP contracts, including variations, claims, payment mechanisms, completion milestones and close-out.
  • Demonstrable experience leading multidisciplinary project teams across Finance, Legal, Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
  • Experience reporting to senior management, investment committees, SPV boards, lenders and investors.
  • Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
