Senior Project Manager | Specialty Insurance
London | Hybrid 3 days in the office
Rate: £650 to £700 per day | Outside IR35
A global specialty insurance business is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a new technology project at the beginning of its discovery phase.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a new piece of work from the outset, working with senior stakeholders across the UK and US to understand the current environment, identify gaps and help shape the scope and direction of the wider project.
The successful Project Manager will bring strong experience delivering technology and transformation projects within insurance and will be comfortable operating in an environment where the requirement is still being defined.

- Strong Project Management experience within insurance essential
- Experience delivering technology, systems or transformation projects
- Strong discovery and gap analysis experience
- Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders
- Ability to bring structure and direction to projects at an early stage
Desirable experience:
- Specialty Insurance or London Market experience
- Systems integration projects
- Salesforce related programmes
- Exposure to AI technology or Harvey AI
The initial engagement will focus on discovery and design, with the wider project expected to continue into delivery.
This would suit an experienced insurance Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of an evolving requirement and helping shape the project before full delivery begins.
