About The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of major projects spanning the Doncaster / Leeds area. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of the project, contributing to the future of sustainable energy infrastructure in England & Wales.

What you'll be doing
Your Responsibilities Will Include (But Not Exhausted) To:
- Prepare both internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders
- Ensure reports provide relevant information which enables decisions to be made which are informed, cost effective and in line with overall strategy
- Lead a relentless focus on Zero Harm & keep up to date with changes in legislation
- Develop, implement and update resource allocation plans (OBS) and raise appropriate requests
- Develop high performing diverse teams, promote a pipeline of talent and assist with internal training through supporting, guiding, motivating, and empowering the team. Using the resources available through training, mentoring, and performance management
- Lead risk/opportunity reviews, present the Risk Register and recommend/implement changes
- Ensure procurement plans are available in line with the overall project plans, such that material/resources/supply chain can be delivered to meet scheduled deadlines
- Ensure all work is undertaken with a view towards handover and certification
- Develop, implement, review, and periodically update resource loaded schedules
- Ensure that expenditure is in line with the budget and that resources are utilized efficiently to ensure cost control
- Advocate consistency and reliability of digital data to support successful project delivery – data driven decisions

Who we're looking for
To make a real impact as a Senior Project Manager with us, you’ll need:
- Project delivery experience to make sure we meet high quality and safety standards
- Experience in Power/ Utilities within large infrastructure projects
- Strong communication skills to manage, mentor, and empower your team
- The confidence and credibility to liaise with business leaders
- Commercial acumen to control costs and keep projects in budget
- To understand standard forms of contracts and performance evaluation techniques.

You Will Have The Following
- Experience of Management and Delivery of high value infrastructure power projects
- Proven track record in tendering and managing complex projects, including sub-contractors
- Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and financial control
- Recognised Project Management qualification
- Recognised and relevant Engineering qualification
