About the role and what you will be doing:

The Senior Project Manager provides senior-level expertise to plan, organise, control, and deliver large, complex infrastructure and data centre migration projects across Ensono's client portfolio. Operating within the Global Project and Implementation (GPI) practice, this role manages multiple company-wide initiatives simultaneously — from scope definition and budget planning through to delivery and post-implementation review. A key part of this position involves building and maintaining strong relationships with client sponsors and internal leaders, including regular on-site engagement at the client's London office. The Senior Project Manager interfaces directly with client executive management to understand critical business priorities and ensures every project is completed within agreed scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are clearly defined, understood, and documented
  • Define project scope, risks, potential issues, and resource requirements at the outset of each engagement
  • Ensure project benefits are realised while managing the impact of organisational change on the business and its clients
  • Develop project phases and translate them into clear, measurable project plans
  • Communicate internally and externally on delivery of work products, planning activities, and cross-organisational resource relationships
  • Manage projects in full adherence to Ensono's project management methodology
  • Manage project scope across mission, objectives, and requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage project schedules, including key milestone dates and critical path tracking
  • Lead the team in identifying project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies; act as the primary escalation point and drive effective mitigation strategies to maintain project goals
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the project team across all phases of delivery
  • Oversee all project work streams, including timeline adherence, quality of deliverables, risk management, issue escalation, and stakeholder collaboration
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure governance frameworks and continuous improvement or transformation plans are established and maintained
  • Establish deadlines, assign tasks, and monitor and summarise project progress for all relevant parties
  • Develop business insights through analysis of results and communicate key findings to management to support data-driven decision-making
  • Secure appropriate resources and personnel in collaboration with management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Escalate barriers, risks, and issues that may impact timelines or deliverables in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Manage the development of polished executive-level presentations and deliver findings to internal associates and external clients clearly and concisely
  • Manage project status reporting in line with prescribed timelines for each engagement
  • Develop measurement processes and methods to assess progress towards project goals and outcomes
  • Manage project costs and budgets throughout the full delivery lifecycle
  • Facilitate cross-training to support job rotation and minimise gaps in assignment coverage
  • Provide coaching and constructive feedback to all project team members
  • Mentor less experienced associates within the project management practice
  • Interface with client executive management on-site at the client's London office to understand and address critical business issues and concerns

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
