Talented people are the key to our success.

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Senior Project Manager to join our team on the Norwich to Tilbury (ATNC) Great Grid Partnership Framework, supporting the delivery of a major underground cabling scheme as part of National Grid's Great Grid Upgrade programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role on a high-profile infrastructure project, managing the successful delivery of a complex civil engineering package from early development through to construction. Working as part of a collaborative and experienced team, you will provide strategic leadership across all aspects of project delivery, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance are achieved.

The role offers the opportunity to influence project strategy, lead multidisciplinary teams, and build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners while contributing to one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and oversee the successful delivery of complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Take overall responsibility for project performance, ensuring health and safety, quality, programme, and cost objectives are achieved.
  • Provide strategic planning, leadership, and operational support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and develop project teams, creating a positive, collaborative, and high-performing culture.
  • Ensure robust project governance, controls and reporting processes are in place and effectively managed.
  • Implement and manage risk management and value engineering processes, ensuring risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives are identified and addressed.
  • Develop and maintain project delivery strategies, plans and programmes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, supply chain partners, and project teams.
  • Ensure project activities are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource requirements.
  • Support business objectives through effective operational leadership and decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and share best practice across the wider business.
  • Lead project reviews, progress meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges, ensuring successful outcomes for clients and project stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
