Senior Project Manager
Initial 3-Month Contract | Up to £500 per day | Inside IR35
1 day per week onsite - Swindon or London
I'm currently supporting a financial services client who is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join them on an initial 3-month contract. We're looking for someone with a strong banking/financial services background, proven experience managing complex engineering delivery programmes, and the gravitas to confidently engage with senior stakeholders and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage engineering project deliverables across multiple workstreams
- Coordinate deliveries across multiple teams and incremental releases
- Create and maintain delivery plans, progress reports, and project governance
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and resource planning
- Ensure features are successfully delivered into production
- Work closely with engineering teams to define milestones and deliverables
- Provide regular reporting to engineering leadership and senior management
- Support smooth production releases and transition into operations

Essential Experience:
- Senior Project Manager within banking or financial services
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership
- Previous people management experience
- Proven track record delivering large-scale technology or engineering projects
