Role Description

Due to a period of growth, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager specialising in Healthcare Infrastructure delivery to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis.

The successful candidate will oversee complex healthcare facility projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, strategic planning, and a thorough understanding of civil engineering and construction processes. The Senior Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and utilise advanced project management tools to achieve project objectives effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis.
  • Coordinate with design team, engineering, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project progression.
  • Monitor project progress through regular reporting and utilise effective time management techniques to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Manage procurement processes, contract negotiations, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and in accordance with organisational standards.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes continuous improvement and professional development.

Experience

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale healthcare infrastructure projects or similar initiatives.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working within healthcare infrastructure is highly desirable but not essential.
