About The Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead significant projects within their dynamic organization based in Leicester. You will be instrumental in driving the successful initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure of complex projects, ensuring they align with strategic business objectives. This role demands exceptional leadership, meticulous planning, and a proactive approach to stakeholder management, offering a pivotal opportunity to influence project outcomes and contribute to the company's continued growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, resources, and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on progress, risks, and milestones.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a significant track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability in risk management, resource allocation, and budget control.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
