The Opportunity

An established UK main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead one of two major new developments in the Slough corridor, both with a construction value in excess of £50m.

The business has established itself as one of the UK's leading privately owned contractors, with an annual turnover of £500m+ and a significant secured order book. They have a strong track record delivering complex, high-value projects for major private-sector clients across industrial & logistics, data centres, life sciences, commercial development, advanced manufacturing and specialist buildings.

The Role

This is a genuine No.1 Project Manager position, with full responsibility for the delivery of a £50m+ project.

The schemes will involve multiple delivery partners, consultants, subcontractors and client-side stakeholders. The successful candidate will take ownership of the project from a delivery perspective, providing clear leadership across the project team and ensuring the highest standards of programme, quality, safety and client satisfaction are maintained.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
