Senior Project Manager

(Australia/New Zealand Expansion)

London | Hybrid Working

Arthur are supporting a leading international insurance organisation undergoing a significant growth and expansion programme.

As part of a multi-year strategy, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of a major Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) expansion initiative.

This is a highly visible role working closely with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions and jurisdictions. This opportunity would suit an individual who enjoys delivering complex growth programmes, operating model change, market expansion and business transformation initiatives within insurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic programmes aligned to international growth objectives.
  • Manage complex workstreams spanning operations, finance, technology, legal, risk and underwriting functions.
  • Drive planning, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement and delivery execution.
  • Support market-entry, business growth and operational scaling initiatives.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies and change impacts.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders while ensuring successful delivery outcomes.

We're Interested in Speaking to Individuals with Experience in:

  • International market expansion programmes.
  • Establishing or scaling insurance operations in new territories.
  • Regulatory mobilisation and operational readiness initiatives.
  • Target Operating Model (TOM) implementation.
  • Insurance transformation programmes.
  • M&A integration or organisational change projects.
  • Executive stakeholder management.
  • Multi-functional programme delivery across business and technology teams.

Background Sought

  • Strong insurance industry experience, ideally within Commercial, Specialty or London Market environments.
  • Experience leading complex transformation programmes and strategic change initiatives.
  • Comfortable operating across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities and evolving requirements.
  • Strong communication, governance and leadership skills.
