Job Purpose

As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for leading multiple or large-scale customer implementations across the Gresham product suite. You will provide guidance and oversight to other Project Managers, ensuring consistent delivery standards and adherence to project methodology. You act as a key point of contact for complex customer engagements and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Programme Management function.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multiple or large, complex customer projects, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines, budgets and scope.
  • Act as an escalation point for Project Managers, supporting issue resolution and providing mentoring and guidance.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, including executive-level customer contacts, internal leadership teams and third parties.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of project documentation, risk management and financial forecasting across assigned projects.
  • Lead customer engagement during critical project phases such as scoping, design and delivery workshops.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices and support the evolution of project methodology.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development and Support teams to influence product enhancement based on customer delivery experience.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities by providing expert implementation insight and supporting solution design.
  • Support month-end and forecasting accuracy for projects under management.
  • Lead post-project reviews and ensure lessons learned are shared and embedded within the team.

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex and high-value projects within financial software or technology sectors.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and forecasts.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching junior Project Managers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project and other project management tools.
  • PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar qualification desirable.
