A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a high-profile Markets Transformation team. The programme is focused on delivering regulatory and strategic change across Capital and Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), supporting the ongoing evolution of trading, risk and capital management capabilities.
Day rate: £700pd via umbrella
Location: London, Hybrid (3 days per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 9 months
Your new role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex regulatory and business transformation initiatives across Markets. Working closely with Front Office, Risk, Finance and Technology teams, you will drive programmes from initiation through to implementation, ensuring requirements are delivered on time and in line with business objectives. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong stakeholder management, programme governance and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams across a complex trading environment.

What you'll need to succeed
- 10+ years' Project Management experience within Financial Services.
- Strong experience delivering Capital, RWA, Risk or Regulatory Change programmes within Markets environments.
- Good understanding of Markets products, particularly Derivatives, Fixed Income and Secured Financing products.
- Proven track record managing large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives.
- Ability to work closely with business, finance, risk and technology teams to drive delivery and resolve complex issues.
- Experience managing programme governance, dependencies, risks, issues and executive stakeholder communications.
- Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and end-to-end technology delivery processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and programme execution.
