About the Role

Join us as a Senior Project Manager at either our Fort Halstead or Shoeburyness site, where you’ll drive high-value, complex projects within the UK Defence arm—specifically the Land & Weapons division—and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the field.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with project customers and partners.
- Deliver against agreed project outputs to targets, including customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash, and sales.
- Maintain accurate forecasts for both financial and resourcing demands.
- Apply governance requirements for sales and delivery projects.
- Ensure correct SAP data entry for opportunities, including:
- Order value
- Order intake scenarios
- Bid due dates and closing dates
- Sales stage tracking
- Margin and revenue profiling
Essential Experience
- Demonstrable capability at International Project Management Level B.
- 3–5 years of experience leading business, projects, programmes, portfolios, or P3 functions, with a proven track record in complex projects.
Essential Qualifications
- APM (Association for Project Management) or PRINCE2 certification.
- Degree in a relevant field (preferred but not strictly required if experience compensates).

Working Arrangements
This is a 37-hour-per-week position, based at either:
- Fort Halstead
- Shoeburyness (Requires a minimum of three in-person days per week.)

Shoeburyness
The Shoeburyness site is a leading test and evaluation facility specialising in:
- Defence and security technologies
- Environmental testing, including evaluation of ordnance, explosives, and related systems
- Measures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and minimise ecological impact.
Fort Halstead
Located in Kent, Fort Halstead focuses on:
- Defence research, particularly weapons systems and military technology
- Advanced facilities for high-tech research in:
- Material science
- Systems engineering
- Advanced simulation techniques Modern laboratories enable cutting-edge engineering and scientific work.
N.B. Successful candidates must be eligible for SC security clearance (or higher) to fulfil this role.
