Senior Project Manager – Industrial / Logistics
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive Salary + Package
A leading Main Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to take a key role on the delivery of a large-scale industrial and logistics development in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with a strong main contracting background and experience delivering major industrial, logistics or distribution projects.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, overseeing the site team and working closely with the commercial, design and wider project teams. Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the project
- Managing and coordinating the site management team
- Driving the programme and ensuring key project milestones are achieved
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme
- Working closely with the commercial and design teams
- Monitoring quality, health & safety and overall site performance
- Chairing progress meetings and reporting on project performance
- Identifying and resolving potential programme and delivery issues
- Maintaining strong communication with the client and wider project stakeholders
- Taking the project through to successful completion and handover

The Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience operating at Senior Project Manager / Project Manager level for a Main Contractor with values over £35million
- A strong track record delivering industrial, logistics, distribution or large-scale commercial projects
- Experience managing projects from construction through to completion
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large site teams and subcontractors
- Excellent programme and project management knowledge
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
