Sector: Financial Services – essential

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a Financial Services organisation on a 6-month contract, leading complex infrastructure and application migration initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a strong infrastructure background and proven experience delivering large-scale technology projects within complex, enterprise environments. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring someone who can manage multiple technical workstreams, senior stakeholders and third-party suppliers through to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end infrastructure and application migration projects from planning through to implementation, cutover, hypercare and BAU transition.
  • Manage complex migration activities across application discovery, dependency mapping, rationalisation, rehosting and replatforming.
  • Lead datacentre exit and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinate technical workstreams across Infrastructure, Architecture, Engineering, Security, Operations and Application teams.
  • Manage project governance, RAID, dependencies, milestones, budgets and reporting.
  • Manage third-party suppliers, system integrators and technology partners.
  • Plan and execute complex production cutovers with minimal business disruption.
  • Ensure operational readiness, resilience and successful transition into BAU.
  • Provide clear communication and reporting to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
