Contract Senior Project Manager

Location: Remote-first (occasional travel to London or Bradford offices)
Duration: 3-6 months
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Start Date: ASAP

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with the capability to operate at Programme Manager level to support a major transformation programme within a leading Housing Association.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a key project while providing oversight and governance across two additional projects within a wider property transformation portfolio.

The Role

You will take ownership of one significant project while acting in a programme management capacity across the wider portfolio, ensuring delivery, alignment, governance, and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project manage one strategic transformation project from initiation through to delivery.
  • Provide programme-level oversight and support to Project Managers delivering two related projects.
  • Ensure dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones are effectively managed across the portfolio.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to drive successful outcomes and maintain programme governance.
  • Report on programme progress, risks, and delivery status to senior leadership.

Essential Experience

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager, with experience operating at Programme Manager level.
  • A strong background delivering transformation programmes within Housing Associations or the wider social housing sector.
  • Excellent understanding of the property function, including:
    • Responsive/day-to-day repairs
    • Asset Management
    • Property Compliance
    • The "Big 6" compliance workstreams and associated service contracts
  • Experience delivering projects relating to property technology, asset management, or compliance solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and governance experience across multiple projects.

Delivering or supporting programmes involving either:

  • Repairs transformation
  • Property Asset Management process or solutions
  • Property Compliance process/systems
  • SCS (or similar asset/property management solutions)

Working Arrangements

  • Remote-first role.
  • Occasional travel to the London or Bradford office will be required.
  • Initial 3-6 month contract.
  • Outside IR35.
  • Immediate start available.
