Senior Project Manager – Major Developments

This is not a routine refurbishment role.
A leading UK hospitality operator is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to take ownership of major developments, acquisitions and hotel conversion projects from their earliest stages through to operational handover.
You will lead complex, high-profile projects that will materially shape the future of the business. Working across the full development lifecycle, you will have the autonomy to make decisions, challenge assumptions and bring together the people required to turn ambitious plans into successful operational assets.

The Opportunity:
- Lead significant new developments and conversion projects
- Take ownership from pre-acquisition and feasibility through to completion
- Define project scope, delivery strategies, programmes and critical paths
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across every stage of development
- Manage design development across all RIBA stages
- Protect project budgets and identify intelligent value-engineering opportunities
- Lead procurement, tendering and contractor selection
- Manage construction contracts, variations, claims and project risks
- Influence senior stakeholders and provide clear, commercially focused advice
- Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors and local authorities
- Deliver high-quality projects that leave a lasting impact on a growing national estate

We are looking for a highly commercial Senior Project Manager with a strong record of delivering major property developments, conversions or hospitality-led construction projects.
You will bring technical credibility, commercial judgement and the leadership skills required to manage complex programmes involving multiple senior stakeholders.
