Senior Project Manager (PFI Hand Back)

Equans is looking for a Senior Project Manager (PFI Hand Back) to join our team on the Central & Southwest business unit on a 24-month fixed-term contract basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, car allowance, and benefits package.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will develop, track, and evaluate programmes to help achieve goals and objectives of the Central & Southwest business unit with regards to Centre of Best Practice PFI Handback. The role will require oversight of a Programme of Projects/Remedial Works/Defect Rectification Works relating to the Handback of PFI assets when they come to the end of the concession period.

What will you deliver?

  • Overseeing the overall management and performance of identified hand back programmes of work (either from internal surveys or external surveys) including feasibility reports, planning, design, construction, programme, and commercial controls / monitoring, ensuring each project is delivered to time, budget, and specification.
  • Ensuring all Health and Safety metrics are achieved and leading on a culture of behavioural safety across the delivery unit.
  • Adherence with legislation CDM Regulations 2015 and Building Safety Act 2022.
  • Adherence with contractual obligations applicable to each project, appreciating the obligations will differ from project to project.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Building and sustaining an integrated, collaborative, and high-performance team that anticipates and responds to the needs of the organisation and key stakeholders.
