Senior Project Manager
Overview
Location: London - hybrid (4 days in the office). Candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
About the Agency
SharpEnd is an established digital agency at the forefront of Connected Packaging and Product as Media advertising. Our aim is to bring consumers a connected experience via their product, through the use of QR codes and NFC tags, and from that deepening their engagement and loyalty to the brand.
About the Role
SharpEnd is seeking a Senior Project Manager (with digital experience) to join our growing team. Reporting to the Studio Lead, you’ll lead the delivery of large-scale digital projects within a fast-paced tech agency, managing complex web and software initiatives from concept to launch. You’ll bring strong stakeholder management and a deep understanding of digital development processes, balancing technical feasibility with business goals. Working closely with engineering, design, and clients, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while gaining mentorship and opportunities to push boundaries and accelerate your professional growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Own end-to-end project lifecycle, from discovery and planning to execution and post-launch optimisation.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Identify, document, and mitigate risks, ensuring clear escalation processes when needed.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Work closely with developers, designers, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and feasibility.
- Drive technical scoping sessions, assisting with architecture discussions, API integrations, and system dependencies.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates, and setting clear expectations.
- Lead client communications, ensuring transparency on progress, blockers, and next steps.
- Partner with leadership and business teams to scope new opportunities and define technical project requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Project Management: 5+ Years experience managing end-to-end digital projects in a fast-paced agency or tech environment.
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with web & app development, APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and DevOps practices.
- Agile & Hybrid Methodologies: Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and traditional project management approaches.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage expectations across clients, leadership, and development teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot, make data-driven decisions, and pivot strategies when required.
- Tools & Platforms: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, different CMS and CRM platforms.
