Senior/Lead Project Manager | £90,000–£120,000 | Central London
Complex projects. Exceptional buildings. A contractor where your leadership will genuinely make an impact.
I’m partnering with a well-established London construction and refurbishment contractor to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager.
The business offers the best of both worlds: the structure, reputation, and project quality of a larger contractor, combined with the agility, personality, and relationship-led culture of an independent firm.
Projects typically range from £1m to £10m+ and include listed buildings, museums, historic estates, conversions, and high-end refurbishments, predominantly across Central London.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
They are looking for someone who can:
- Lead complex projects from inception through to completion
- Take ownership of programme, quality, safety, and commercial delivery

You will ideally have a strong and stable career history, with clear progression gained within a respected contractor or consultancy environment.
Heritage or listed building experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Both trade-qualified and degree-qualified candidates will be considered.
