Senior Project Manager – Digital Products

Manchester
Hybrid – Tuesday & Thursday in the office | Up to £70,000

Own £1m+ digital projects from discovery through to launch

We have partnered with a business that is looking for a Senior Project Manager who is ready to take genuine ownership of high-value digital products and software projects.

This is not a traditional internal IT Project Manager role. You’ll be working directly with major clients, leading multidisciplinary teams across development, design, product, architecture and strategy, and taking responsibility for projects with approx £1m+ budgets.

You’ll be involved from the very beginning – helping shape scope, estimates and delivery approach – through to launch and completion. Along the way, you’ll have real commercial ownership, senior client exposure and the opportunity to influence how complex digital products are delivered.

The environment will particularly suit someone from a digital agency, consultancy or software/product business who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, clients and commercial delivery.

Why this role?

  • £1m+ project ownership – take responsibility for high-value digital projects and their commercial performance.
  • Real client exposure – work directly with senior stakeholders and become a trusted delivery partner.
  • Digital products, not internal IT – deliver web, mobile and software products that are used by real customers.
  • End-to-end ownership – from discovery, scoping and estimation through to delivery and launch.
  • Commercial responsibility – own budgets, forecasts, burn rates, invoicing and Statements of Work.
  • Technical exposure – work closely with engineering and architecture teams and understand the technical decisions influencing delivery.
  • Varied client portfolio – work across different projects, technologies and industries rather than delivering the same type of project repeatedly.
  • Career development – an opportunity to grow within an established digital product and consultancy environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
