This is a 12 month FTC
For decades, our client has been at the forefront of technology change and delivery within their industry. As we see the transition into a sole entity, this will remain constant as they drive towards futureproofing the industry within all areas of technology. As part of this transition, the current Senior Project Manager in this area is moving over to the new organisation, and as such we need someone to continue the delivery of business critical technology projects in this area. You will be responsible for all project management and delivery within shared services as they continue to modernise and harden the technology solutions in this space. This will mean managing the delivery on infrastructure and AWS solutions across all of the companies in the brand within the UK

Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, developing and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, and key milestones to ensure successful outcomes
- Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and third-party suppliers, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance
- Coordinate multiple project workstreams, managing dependencies, risks, and priorities to ensure aligned and timely delivery
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, timescales, and budget
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and changes, implementing appropriate governance and escalation where required

Skills
- Project management experience
- External supplier management
- Internal resource management (QA, Service Delivery etc)
- Complex project delivery - worked on the delivery of technology services that affects 3rd parties as well as internal
- Technical project delivery (Shared Services/Infrastructure/Cloud
Desirable
- Rail/Transport experience
- Experience with delivering infrastructure/AWS projects
