Senior Project Manager - Healthcare

Location: London
Sector: Construction Consultancy
Qualifications: MRICS / MCIOB
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

Overview

Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy with a growing healthcare project management team, is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects across London and the South East. This is an opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong public sector presence, delivering projects for NHS Trusts, healthcare providers, and wider public sector clients. The role offers exposure to major capital programmes, stakeholder engagement at senior level, and a clear pathway towards Associate.

The Role

Working as part of an established Project Management team, you'll take responsibility for delivering healthcare projects from inception through to completion, acting as the key client contact and ensuring successful project outcomes. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects across the healthcare sector, leading consultant teams, advising clients on risk and procurement strategies, and overseeing project delivery through all RIBA stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of healthcare construction projects from feasibility to handover.
  • Act as Project Manager and Employer's Agent where required.
  • Manage client, consultant, and contractor relationships.
  • Develop project programmes, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Monitor project performance against cost, quality, and programme objectives.
  • Lead project meetings and report to senior stakeholders.
  • Administer contracts under JCT and NEC forms.
  • Support business development and help strengthen client relationships.
  • Mentor junior members of the project management team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
