Senior Project Manager | Content Technology & Innovation

We’re looking for Senior Project Managers to join a major Content Technology & Innovation environment in Osterley, West London.

📍 Osterley, West London
🏢 2 days per week on-site, non-negotiable
📄 6 Months
💷 Up to £500 - £700 rate inside IR35

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Managers with a strong broadcast, media or complex technology delivery background.

The role

You’ll lead highly complex, multi-workstream technical projects across areas such as:

  • Large-scale cloud-based playout systems
  • Content distribution systems, including encoding and multiplexing
  • Up-link systems
  • Technical facility builds, moves and migrations
  • Server infrastructure and virtualisation
  • Content Management Systems and software development
  • Large-scale software and infrastructure programmes

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead complex technical projects from initiation through to delivery
  • Manage multiple workstreams, budgets, timelines and dependencies
  • Lead virtual teams of engineers, developers and project resources
  • Develop and present business cases and project reports
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers
  • Ensure delivery is on time, within budget and to the required quality
  • Coach and mentor less experienced project team members

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience delivering complex technical projects within broadcast, media or a similar environment
  • Strong experience across software, infrastructure and/or cloud projects
  • A demonstrable track record of working with formal project methodologies
  • Experience leading and motivating technical project teams
  • Strong stakeholder and supplier management experience
  • Degree or equivalent experience

Experience working with major broadcasters or related organisations
