DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

You will be working in the Building Services OU based in Mansfield Kings Mill Hospital in where we are responsible for supporting hospitals nationwide, ensuring clean, well-ventilated, and heated spaces that aid patient recovery. We help cut energy use, carbon emissions, and waste costs, drawing on global best practice from over 400 healthcare projects.

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager who will deliver projects at Mansfield King's Mill Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the timely delivery of programs of work.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Foster and develop excellent working relations with the diverse client and site operations team, providing confidence and assurance of Skanska Building Services ability and capability to successfully deliver projects.
  • Provide leadership, development and guidance to the Project Managers and associated capital works / lifecycle team when required and ensure best practice and conformance with legislation is achieved.
  • Undertake line management responsibilities for direct and indirect employees.
  • Manage performance of team by undertaking the annual performance review process.
  • Manage talent by actively developing other team members using knowledge and experience through encouragement and support.
  • Supporting the various stakeholders including but not limited to General Managers, Technical team members, Capital & lifecycle team, AP and H&S representatives, the Senior Project Manager will achieve the successful delivery of projects on time, on budget with zero defects and no lost time injuries.

We are looking for:

  • Professionally Qualified to Chartered or Incorporated status with a Building Services or Construction related body or working towards and achieving within 2 years. Qualified to HNC level as a minimum in an appropriate discipline.
  • Member of Association of Project Management or equivalent recognised body.
  • H&S qualification e.g. minimum 4-day IOSH or Construction Certificate
  • Experience in managing the delivery of multiple projects in a FM environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering programs of work in line with the requirements of CDM 2015 and experience in fulfilling the duties of Principal Designer and Principal Contractor on single and multi-discipline projects.
  • Ability to identify risk areas and additionally potential growth opportunities and manage successfully.
  • Tangible client relationship management and ability to communicate at Senior level and confident to implement new strategies and business improvement policies.
