Elior Support Services – The People Behind Every Plate
Elior UK is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Programme Management and Change team in Macclesfield.
This is a key role where you’ll lead the delivery of complex projects and transformation initiatives across Elior UK, working with teams across the business and collaborating with Elior Group internationally. You’ll take ownership of projects from initiation through to completion, managing scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
You’ll need strong project management experience, a good technical understanding, and the confidence to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
This role is based from our Macclesfield office, so you’ll need to live within a reasonable commutable distance and be able to work from the office as required.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday | 9am–5:30pm | Hybrid Working with 3 days in the office

What you’ll be serving up…
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects and transformation programmes across Elior UK.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and key milestones.
- Work closely with Elior Group and international teams to ensure UK requirements are met while maintaining alignment across regions.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including consultants, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes, putting appropriate mitigation and contingency plans in place.
- Provide clear and regular project updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Oversee quality control and ensure project deliverables meet agreed standards and requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project and development teams, ensuring effective solutions and best practice.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, keeping up to date with relevant technology and industry developments.
- Lead, support, and mentor project team members, helping to create a high-performing project environment.

The ingredients you'll bring...
- Proven experience working as a Senior Project Manager, ideally delivering complex projects or transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and/or hybrid approaches.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira and Microsoft Project.
- A strong technical understanding, including experience with customisation, configuration, and integration.
- Experience working on international projects and collaborating with global teams.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
- Proven experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills.
- Knowledge of industry best practice in project implementation and migration.
- APM or similar project management qualification would be desirable.
