Senior Project Manager
Technology & IT Project Delivery
๐ Location: Hybrid - London 1-day per week
๐ผ Permanent | Client-facing role
As Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of around 6โ10 concurrent client-facing IT projects, keeping everything moving from initiation through to implementation and completion. You'll be the central point of coordination between clients, engineers, internal teams and other stakeholders, making sure everyone knows what needs to happen, when it needs to happen, and who is responsible.

You'll need to be confident working with technical teams and engineers without needing to be the deepest technical expert in the room. Your strength will be understanding the IT environment well enough to ask the right questions, coordinate effectively, hold people accountable, and make sure the technical teams have everything they need to deliver.
What you'll do & achieve

- Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Run project meetings, produce clear actions and ensure they are followed through to completion
- Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies and changes
- Identify delivery risks early and put appropriate mitigation plans in place
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
- Balance multiple competing priorities across the project portfolio
- Provide regular project updates to clients and internal management
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timescales and commercial parameters
- Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes and ways of working

Iโm in my final year doing Economics and I donโt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer โ it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโt need a masters. Letโs look at the ones youโd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
